Frequently Asked Questions

When can I pick up my "local pick-up" order from the store?

Local pick-ups will be available:

Wednesdays through Fridays from 3pm to 7pm

Saturdays & Sundays from 1pm to 5pm.

While they generally should be available same day, it may take a day depending on the time the order is placed. If you need an earlier pick up time, please just shoot me an email and I will try my best to accommodate! The pick-up location will remain at 2540 W. Division St.

How long will it take for my order to ship out after I place it?

Orders will generally ship within 4-5 business days unless the shop is really busy or I've had a personal issue come up. In these cases I will reach out via email to notify you that it may take a little longer to ship your order.

Where do you ship to?

We can ship to any state Except Michigan, South Carolina, Nebraska, Kansas, Idaho, Mississippi & Georgia due to state regulations.

How much is shipping? Didn't this use to be free?

Shipping prices are based off of the weight of your order within ranges. Each can of beer is about .8-1lbs, and each RTD cocktail is about .4-.8lbs. I use PirateShip to try and get the most discounted pricing I can, however shipping beverages is still expensive because they're so heavy. Because of this, It's just not financially doable for a one-person operation to handle these costs, especially for heavier orders. The shipping costs breakdown is below for you:

Packages 0-10lbs is $10.99

Packages 11-20lbs is $15.99

Packages 21+lbs is $22.99

I got my tracking number but the tracking is not updating :(

That's weird! Generally tracking should update within 48hours of you getting the tracking number, but if it's been longer than that reach out to me at Info@BendicionBar.com and I'll look into it.

Why is there so much damn bubble wrap / paper stuffing in my package??

From my personal experience with getting products shipped to the shop, transit carriers are not the gentlest with their packages. I want your products to get to you in one piece and hopefully not burst or break on their way to you because that's hella disappointing! As of right now, all of the bubble wrap / stuffing is recycled and being reused from packages we get as to limit our waste.  

What happens if my package or items are damaged during transit?

Please let me know right away at Info@BendicionBar.com if there have been any issues with your package, and please provide photos of the package or damaged items in your email. Each circumstance is different but I will try my best to work with you and find a solution.

Why are my cans slightly dented even though my package arrived fine?

I get a majority of my stock shipped to me from the brands (and often from overseas) or their warehouse, so they've already gone through transit once. Because of this though, that means they may have gotten to me a little dented - I won't ever sell anything that is extremely damaged but your cans may have very minor dents. These are still perfectly safe to drink and will not make you sick!

Do my products need to be refrigerated?

For the most part any items for sale on our site are shelf stable and do not need to be refrigerated however I do recommend keeping the beers chilled as they will keep longer. I will note when a beer is not pasteurized and needs to be kept refrigerated. 

How long is my NA Spirit good for once opened?

This will vary per product and the brand should have it noted on each individual bottle. Generally it'll range from 1 week to a couple of months, and sometimes the spirits will need to be refrigerated once opened (this will also be noted on the bottle itself)

How long is my NA Wine good for once opened?

This will vary per brand but generally between 3 days to 2 weeks. The wines will need to be refrigerated once opened, and they are likely to start losing flavor once opened and stored so my personal recommendation is to drink them within a week.
